Ingredients

Directions

1. Mix flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt.
2. Cut butter into cubes, keep cold. Cut into dry ingredients until mixture is crumbly.
3. Add raisins. Add egg and milk.
4. Mix into dough, do not overmix. Put into freezer to cool if dough gets sticky.
5. Roll out or flatten dough to about 2 cm. Cut into rounds or triangles, put on parchment paper lined baking sheet. Put into freezer to cool if dough is sticky.
6. Bake in 200C for 15 minutes. Best serve warm, with jam or butter. Last 3 to 4 days.
